We anticipate selling several hundred Living Social tickets. This volume will fill us to capacity on many days. We recommend calling well in advance to schedule your adventure. All tours have a 4 guest minimum so you will be paired up with others or your tour may be rescheduled if the minimum is not met for a particular tour. Living Social Gift Certificates are non-refundable, so you will need to keep trying and rescheduling.

Colorado Springs Segway Tours, What? Yes, a Segway PT, Personal Transportation device. The Segway is one of the newest forms of transportation. The Segway can carry 1 guest for 22 miles at 12 mph. This is wind in the hair fun on a gizmo that defies gravity and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Segway tours are proving to be a popular recreation activity around the world and now they are available in Colorado Springs.

Tours
All Tours are listed below. Please read all information to ensure a safe and fun Segway
experience. Segways are sweet but not for everyone.
Tours vary in length from 1 to two hours.
All tours require reservations. Call our headquarters at 800-755-0935.
No guests under the age of 10 are permitted. Not recomended for the elderly.
Maximum tour size per guide is 6 guests.
No guests over 250lbs or under 100lbs need to be pre-approved for the tours.
Sturdy flat-soled shoes are required, NO HIGH HEELS, a light jacket or sweatshirt is recommended and helmets are required and will be provided.

Tour includes,
Transportation from hotels can be arranged if necessary.
Cone Zone mandatory orientation on Segway use.
Ride time on the Segway.
All necessary equipment, guide and helmets.

Disclaimer, in addition to other unforeseeable circumstances we cannot guarantee your tour will be without incident. It is impossible for AOW to fully train, explain or demonstrate all possible accident scenarios in one training session. If guests follow our rules and pay attention it is likely you will have an incident free activity. BUT, it is not uncommon for some guests to fall off the Segway at some point, either during training, on the tour or near the end. We do not recomend the tours for people who are unsteady on their feet. Guests should be able to walk up and down a set of stairs and nimbly jump off a curb without assistance. Guest will stand for 45 minutes to an hour and a half on the Segway. Adventures Out West cannot fully determin a guests ability to ride a Segway. By signing the waiver, guests acknowledge they have taken necessary steps to determin their ability level. Reckless or disrespectful behavior will not be tollerated. Troublesome guests will be asked to leave the tour without refund. Our tours our fun scenic site seeing adventure, not high performance tours. We recomend you do a youtube search for Segway crashes to view a random sampling of what people do on Segways and how easily one can fall.

Cone Zone Try and train on our Segway in the safety and security of the cone zone. If you are hesitant about venturing out on one of our Segways don't worry. We will teach you the basics and make you aware of the potential risks. This 15 to 30 minute Segway orientation is the foundation of a successful tour. All AOW guests are required to complete the cone zone adventure before being allowed to participate in any of the other Segway tours we offer. Guests with prior Segway experience are still required to participate in the Cone Zone.

Garden of the Gods Segway tour
45 Minutes to 1.5 hours on the Segway. A great way to experience one of nature's greatest treasures, Garden of the Gods. Originating at the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center, unobscured views and a mellow pace will ensure your visit to this beautiful city park is memorable. We take several short stops. If the guest needs to get off, we do but usually we don't. Your guide will point out Red Tail hawks, red necks, bird poop, eagles nests, billion year old geologic formations, exotic plants and wild life, unique caricatures hidden in the rocks and characters climbing on the rocks, Cultural history of the park and Colorado Springs, tall tales and true stories of the old west and they might get a bonus by getting rained on and possibly see a Cougar or Big Horn Sheep. And in the end all you remember is, the Segway is sweet.

Summer tours depart Garden of the Gods starting at 9:00am. Walk up tours
are available at Garden of the Gods as a space available option.

Directions

From I-25 North take Garden of the Gods exit, Turn West, towards the mountains. Follow Garden of the Gods rd. for 2 miles to the end. Turn Left on 30th St. Follow the Signs to Garden of the Gods Park and Visitor Center.

From I-25 South and Hwy 24 take Hwy 24 west to 31st St.. Turn North on 31st st, 1 block to Colorado Ave. Turn right for 1 block to 30th St. and hang a left. Appoximately 3 miles to the Visitors Center on the right.

Seven Falls and Broadmoor neighborhood tour

This tour will showcase all this famous neighborhood has to offer and is by far the best way to see the canyon. 1 mile from the Broadmoor is the front door of the Rockies and the grandest mile of scenery, Seven Falls. This tour provides unobstructed views of this marvelous canyon. We will stay at the Falls long enough for you to take in the extrordinary beauty of Colorado that is Seven Falls. This tour also includes, The Penrose House and its grand driveway complete with wild deer, Star Gideon Kempf sculptures and scenic by streets. Entry lines to this popular destination can be long. Our Segway tours advance to the front of the line and have special reserved parking at the base of the falls. You will be the envy of the other guests visiting Seven Falls.

Segway team Building and Parties

What a blast your team will have learning with each on the Segway. Our interactive program includes presentation on riding the Segway. Team learning from each other and a fun obstacle course with balls, ropes and other fun toys.

Segway races are a fun addition to any function.

Each session is 1.5 to 2 hours long.
$700.00 per session, 1 segway per five guests for the activity.
