Our Segway adventures in Sedona and Scottsdale are a one of a kind blast. From Off-road fun in Scottsdale to Red Rock beauty in Sedona your tour is guaranteed to be fun on these amazing battery powered machines.

Tours are listed below. Please read all information to ensure a safe and fun Segway experience. Segways are not for everyone. Please review the disclaimer befor you book your tour. Segway tours vary in length from 1 to 2 hours based on guest ability. All tours require reservations. Call our headquarters at 800-755-0935 for tour times and availability.

No guests under the age of 14 are permitted.
Guests physical abilities should include the ability to
climb stairs without the use of a railing and be able to
nimbly step on and off a curb.
No guests over 225lbs.
The Segway is not a toy.

Tour includes,
Cone Zone mandatory orientation on Segway use.
Waiver you may print and bring this with you.
Ride time on the Segway.
All necessary equipment, guide and helmet.

Warning, this is an adventure activity. In addition to other unforeseeable circumstances we cannot guarantee your tour will be without incident. It is impossible for AOW to fully train, explain or demonstrate all possible accident scenarios in one training session. If guests follow our rules and pay attention it is likely you will have an incident free activity. BUT, it is not uncommon for some guests to fall off the Segway at some point, either during training, on the tour or near the end. We do not recomend the tours for people who are unsteady on their feet. Guests should be able to walk up and down a set of stairs and nimbly jump off a curb without assistance. Guest will stand for 45 minutes to an hour and a half on the Segway. Adventures Out West cannot fully determin a guests ability to ride a Segway. By signing the waiver, guests acknowledge they have taken necessary steps to determin their ability level. Reckless or disrespectful behavior will not be tollerated. Troublesome guests will be asked to leave the tour without refund. Our tours our fun scenic site seeing adventure, not high performance tours. We recomend you do a youtube search for Segway crashes to view a random sampling of what people do on Segways and how easily one can fall.

Cone Zone Try and train on our Segway in the safety and security of the cone zone. If you are hesitant about venturing out on one of our Segways don't worry. We will teach you the basics and make you aware of the potential risks. This 20 to 30 minute Segway orientation is the foundation of a successful tour. All AOW guests are required to complete the cone zone adventure before being allowed to participate in any of the Segway tours we offer. Guests with prior Segway experience are still required to participate in the Cone Zone.

Sedona's history dates back 350 million years when the beautiful red rock formation were created. 1000 years ago the Sinagua Indians first settled this mystical place. For the past 150 years cowboys and stargazers have been stiring around Sedona raising fruit and causing trouble in the wild west. Todays modern visitors can zip all over Sedona on new age gliding machines called Segways. Join in the history and fun of Sedona as AOW introduces the amazing Segway to Red Rock Country.

Sedona recently finished its green/red bike path trail system linking Uptown, Tlaquepaque, Hillside, West Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek. These beautiful wide pathways are the foundation of our tours and create a safe travel zone for you. Other routes we will travel involve city streets and dirt trails.

Tours depart by reservation and walk up space available all day. Please call or stop by the office.

Early Bird Special, Book your tour between 7:00am and 8:30 and save $10.00. The days get hot in the Sedona summer sun so preserve your walet and body in the cool morning hours.

Jordan Road Tour
See the sites in and around Sedona's main tourist district. This short 1 hour loop includes the neighborhood streets of Uptown, Jordan road and the Sedona Heritage Park. The Segway is an eyecatcher so be prepared to be stared at on this popular tour route.

Uptown, Tlaquepaque and
Oak Creek Park Tour
Looking for a longer adventure? This tour includes the Jordan road tour and adds a trip, down hill, to the Tlaquepaque arts and crafts village and Los Abrigados park. Tour and window shop on the coble stone streets of this quaint market place along Oak Creek.
1 hour and 45 minutes with training. $85.00

Chapel of the Holy Cross Adventure tour
One of Sedona's top spots this amazing chapel was built directly in and on the Red Rock of Sedona. Our longest tour this route gets you up close and personal with the red rocks of Sedona and great photo oportunities abound. Your adventure will travel the Sedona bike path through the Oak Creek Valley. Beautful homes and neighborhoods along with spectacular vistas of the enitire area are visible through out. The tour departs the bike path and heads up city streets to the Chapel of the Holy Cross. We will stop long enough for you to visit the chapel and see this awsome location.
2 to 2.5 hour tour with training $105.00 per guest

Twilight Glide Ride tour

Choose any of our tour routes and experience them in the beautiful evening hours. The sunsets in Sedona are second to none. Guests are more likely to encounter the wild Havelina and other wildlife at this time of the day. Not to mention the cooler temperatures can't be beat. Our Segways are equiped with L.E.D. lights should your adventure continue past dark.

VORTEX tour
Vortex tours include some of the more well known locations. Be careful though, one wrong move on that Segway and you might find yourself transported to our Garden of the Gods Segway Tour in Colorado Springs.

Your Guide, Cowboy Wayne, has been leading tours in the Arizona desert for 30 years. His laid back persona will keep you at ease as you saunter along the trail. Watch out for the Rattle Snakes though, they don't feel you coming on the Segway and you might roll over them.

Fort McDowell
X2 off-road tour
Its like a hike in the desert without the hassel of sweating. The Segway alows you to view the desert flora and fauna without all the incumbrances of vehicle windows and doors. Our off road adventure travels an area rich with Giant Saguaros Cactus and heavy on the fun. The Knobby balloon tires of the Segway X2 will ensure a safe smooth ride over the native caliche earth.
In the event of bad weather or excessively muddy unsafe conditions, tours will be relocated to the Green Belt tour in Old Town Scottsdale.
